President & Director of Football

Marconi Neto serves as President and Director of Football, providing strategic leadership and technical direction for the club’s long-term growth, football identity, and competitive success. With experience across South America, Europe, Canada, and the United States, Marconi brings a global football perspective supported by strong executive leadership, structured governance, and modern player development principles.

As President, Marconi oversees the governance, sustainability, and strategic expansion of the organization, including operational planning, financial oversight, partnerships, and community engagement. Since founding the club in 2020, he has led its development into a structured competitive organization with 300+ registered players, supported by professional systems, clearly defined standards, and a unified football culture.

In his role as Director of Football, Marconi leads all technical and sporting operations, ensuring full alignment between club philosophy, coaching methodology, and long-term player pathways. His responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing the club-wide player development curriculum
* Establishing coaching standards, session methodology, and performance benchmarks
* Overseeing coach education, mentorship, and evaluation processes

Vanessa Pagano-Polidori

General Manager

As General Manager, Vanessa Polidori provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the club operates at the highest standard both on and off the field. With more than two decades of experience in financial management, operations, and executive leadership, Vanessa brings a strong foundation in governance, accountability, and long-term planning to the organization.

Vanessa’s professional background includes senior roles in corporate finance, real estate services, and business ownership, where she has successfully managed complex budgets, implemented robust financial controls, and led teams through periods of growth and change. Her experience overseeing multi-million-dollar portfolios, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing efficient operational systems translates directly into building a stable and sustainable club environment.

In her role, Vanessa is responsible for overseeing the club’s financial health, operational systems, and administrative functions. She works closely with the Board of Directors, technical leadership, and staff to support strategic initiatives, manage resources effectively, and ensure policies and procedures align with the club’s long-term vision. Her leadership supports all areas of the club, including player development pathways, staff support, program delivery, and stakeholder relations.

Chris Morgan

Admin Operations Manager

Chris brings over 20 years of senior operations, logistics, and supply chain management experience to his role as Admin Operations and Uniform Manager. With an extensive background leading large teams, managing complex inventory systems, and overseeing end-to-end operational processes, Chris plays a vital role in ensuring the club’s day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Throughout his career, Chris has held leadership positions with major national organizations, where he was responsible for inventory control, procurement, distribution, budgeting, vendor management, and process improvement. He has managed high-volume operations, large inventories, and multi-department teams, consistently delivering strong results through organization, planning, and attention to detail.

At the club, Chris oversees administrative operations and all aspects of the uniform program, including ordering, inventory management, distribution, and coordination with suppliers and families. His structured approach ensures accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery, helping players, coaches, and teams focus on performance rather than logistics.

Chris is known for his ability to see the big picture while managing the details that matter most. He brings a problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. His experience in building efficient systems and streamlining processes directly supports the club’s goal of providing a professional, well-organized environment for all members.

Alex Lee

Marketing Manager

Alex Lee is a results-driven marketing analytics and digital optimization leader with 15+ years of experience improving B2B web performance through data, experimentation, and customer-journey insight. As a Web Data Analyst at Instaclick Inc. (2010–present), Alex specializes in translating complex site behavior into clear, revenue-linked actions—leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, and Webtrends to diagnose funnel drop-off, identify growth opportunities, and prioritize high-impact conversion improvements.

Alex’s qualifications span the full lifecycle of performance marketing and website optimization: competitive intelligence and trend monitoring to inform positioning, quantitative analysis and secondary research to validate hypotheses, and hands-on execution supporting client websites through day-to-day maintenance and technical troubleshooting. Alex is also experienced in building alignment across stakeholders—communicating findings and recommendations to both internal teams and external clients in a practical way that drives decisions and action.

With a strong foundation in quality assurance and systems testing, Alex brings an added level of rigor to marketing initiatives—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliable measurement. Prior roles include Software QA Support Analyst at CCF Interact, where Alex led testing across QA/UAT/production environments, managed defects via Remedy, debugged logs, and helped improve testing procedures; and Business Support Technician at CitiFinancial Retail Services, supporting online web financing workflows, automated QA testing, and merchant training. This blend of analytics, technical depth, and process discipline enables Alex to partner effectively with developers, product teams, and clients to deliver measurable digital outcomes.

Khash Teymouri

Technical Director

Khashayar Teymouri is an experienced Technical Director and youth development leader with a strong background in building structured coaching environments and implementing long-term player development pathways. With hands-on experience across both grassroots and competitive levels, he specializes in aligning club philosophy, training methodology, and game models to ensure consistency and quality throughout all age groups.
As Technical Director, Khashayar oversees the design and implementation of the club’s technical curriculum, including session standards, seasonal planning, and coaching support systems. He works closely with coaches to ensure a unified technical framework is applied across the program, emphasizing technical excellence, tactical awareness, disciplined training habits, and age-appropriate development principles. His approach is detail-oriented and performance-driven, while remaining firmly rooted in long-term player development.

In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Khashayar has served as Head Coach at Etobicoke FC, where he led competitive youth teams in structured league environments. He has also worked as Assistant Coach with Pars FCMen’s Team competing in the Ontario Soccer League, gaining valuable experience at the senior level alongside former professional players. Previously, his time at Toronto High Park FC further strengthened his ability to manage competitive programs, communicate effectively with parents, and foster a positive, disciplined club culture.

Pre-Academy Manager & Skill Centre Lead

Position Overview:
Etobicoke FC is seeking a qualified and development-focused Skills Centre & Pre-Academy Lead Coach to oversee our foundational programs (U5–U9). This role plays a key part in the club’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD)pathway and operates in full alignment with Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer standards.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, age-appropriate training environments that emphasize technical fundamentals, physical literacy, enjoyment, and Safe Sport principles, while preparing players for progression into Etobicoke FC’s academy pathway.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver Skills Centre and Pre-Academy training sessions (U5–U9)
* Design and implement development-first, age-appropriate sessions aligned with LTPD
* Emphasize ball mastery, coordination, movement skills, and game-based learning
* Implement and maintain the club’s grassroots curriculum
* Ensure consistency in session structure, coaching language, and learning outcomes

Fernando Da Rocha

Program Manager

Fernando Da Rocha is a highly motivated and detail-oriented soccer professional with a strong background in player development, scouting, and academy operations. Originally from Portugal, Fernando began his playing career there before relocating to Canada at the age of 16, where he continued to pursue his passion for the game and transitioned into coaching and football operations.

With experience coaching players from U7 to U15, Fernando is known for his organized, innovative, and player-centred approach. He designs and delivers training sessions aligned with Canada Soccer’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model, emphasizing technical excellence, game understanding, decision-making, and confidence both on and off the pitch. His ability to work effectively across multiple age groups has made him a versatile and adaptable coach.

Fernando currently serves as Operations Manager and Head Coach at Canada First Academy, where he oversees day-to-day football operations and technical delivery. His responsibilities include managing training programs, team logistics, tryouts, and player development initiatives, while also coordinating league communication and tournament administration. He has led elite clinics, small-group training programs, and scouting initiatives, and regularly utilizes modern performance and management platforms such as Veo, SportsEngine, and E2E to support player analysis and operational efficiency.

Bilal Osmane

Coach Educator & Sports Video Analyst

Billal Osmane is a dedicated and highly qualified soccer professional with over 9 years of experience in player development, coaching education, and performance analysis across academy and professional environments in Canada and Europe.

He currently serves as Head Coach, Coach Educator, and Video Analyst at Canada First Academy for Soccer Excellence, where he leads training program design, delivers daily training sessions, oversees staff development, and integrates performance data and video analysis to support long-term player growth. Billal is experienced in managing modern performance tools, including Veo, Hudl, and team management platforms, to track player progression and enhance learning.

Previously, Billal was part of the Paris Football Club (France – Ligue 2) academy coaching staff, working with the U17 national-level team as a Coach and Performance Analyst. His role included tactical and individual video analysis, opponent scouting, data visualization, and the management of physical and wellness metrics to support performance and injury prevention. He also led tactical video sessions for team and individual development.

Billal’s coaching foundation is further strengthened by his experience with Coerver Coaching, where he delivered technical skill development programs using the internationally recognized Coerver methodology, as well as several years coaching competitive youth teams in France.
He holds a UEFA B License and multiple youth development and safeguarding certifications. Billal is known for his structured, development-first approach, applying tactical periodization principles and focusing on the four factors of performance—technical, tactical, physical, and psychological—to help players reach their full potential.

Paulo Silva

Goalkeeper Program Manager

Paulo Silva is Etobicoke FC’s Goalkeeper Program Manager, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience and a deep background in goalkeeper development across grassroots, competitive, and elite environments in Ontario. A former professional goalkeeper, Paulo is passionate about building confident, complete goalkeepers through structured, game-realistic training and clear, individualized feedback.

In his role, Paulo leads the club’s goalkeeper pathway by planning weekly training themes and age-appropriate progressions. He delivers modern goalkeeper sessions that develop the full toolkit—footwork, handling, shot-stopping, diving technique, 1v1s, crossing/high balls, and distribution under pressure—while creating Individual Development Plans (IDPs) with clear technical targets and measurable checkpoints aligned to the club curriculum.

Paulo’s coaching combines technical detail with the tactical demands of the position, emphasizing starting positions, scanning, communication, defensive organization, and decision-making in match-realistic scenarios. He works closely with head coaches and technical staff to ensure goalkeeper development aligns with each team’s game model, training loads, and match-day demands, supporting progression from grassroots into competitive and elite levels.

Paulo holds the Ontario Soccer Goalkeeping Diploma (2016) and has completed a strong range of coach education and Safe Sport training, including Learn to Train (U10–U13), Soccer for Life (U14+), Respect in Sport – Activity Leader, NCCP Making Head Way, NCCP Understanding the Rule of Two, EAP NCCP, and Making Ethical Decisions.

He is committed to maintaining Safe Sport–aligned training environments where athlete wellbeing, positive communication, and high standards are central to the experience.

Before moving into coaching and technical leadership, Paulo competed as a professional goalkeeper, including time with the Toronto Lynx (1995–1997), and earned significant honours in Canada such as a Championship title with Scarborough International (1991) and being named League Champion & Best Goalkeeper for three consecutive years with the Portuguese Soccer Club (Canada) (1990–1993). His early career also included playing in Italy (Pianese) and Brazil (Democrata de Valadares)—experience that continues to shape his practical, performance-focused approach to developing goalkeepers.

Julian Cafarelli has been a valued member of our coaching staff for the past 2.5 years, bringing energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for developing young players. Over that time, Julian has completed his Grassroots coaching courses and has consistently applied that learning to create positive, age-appropriate sessions that help players build confidence, improve their technique, and enjoy the game.

Julian has done an excellent job leading our younger age groups, supporting players from the U7 Select stage through to the U10 Academy pathway. His focus is on strong fundamentals, good habits on and off the ball, and building a love for learning—ensuring players progress at the right pace while developing creativity and game understanding.

Alongside his coaching work, Julian also brings a strong playing background. He is listed as a wide player (LW/RW) and has competed with Prostars FC, with publicly available player ranking and highlight resources that reflect his experience and style in wide attacking roles.

Julian remains committed to growing as a coach and mentor. He is actively working toward attaining his C Licence and Children’s Licence, continuing to invest in his development so he can keep providing a high standard of coaching and support for every player in our program.

Ethan Molla

Ethan Molla is an emerging academy coach focused on creating fun, confident, and development-first learning environments for young players. He currently coaches in the Grassroots program at Etobicoke FC in Toronto, supporting athletes at the earliest and most important stage of the pathway—building strong technical foundations, game understanding, and a love for the sport.

Committed to continuous professional development, Ethan is actively working toward his Canada Soccer C Diploma and Ontario Soccer/Canada Soccer Children’s Licence—two key steps in the national coach education pathway for coaches who want to lead high-quality training for grassroots and child-aged players. Canada Soccer describes the C Diploma as the entry point into the licence-to-licence pathway, designed to develop a coach’s capacity to meet the demands of coaching grassroots soccer, with a course structure that blends in-person learning and online components.

For the Children’s Diploma, Canada Soccer emphasizes preparation for coaching children (roughly ages 5–12) in a development environment, with prerequisites that include grassroots workshop training, current involvement coaching U13 and below, and a valid criminal record check—aligning with the responsibilities and standards expected in modern youth coaching.

Ethan’s coaching approach is grounded in player-centred principles common to Canada Soccer’s development model: keeping sessions age-appropriate, maximizing ball contact and engagement, and helping young players progress through clear, encouraging feedback. As he completes his upcoming licences, Ethan is building the technical knowledge and session-planning tools needed to support children’s long-term development—while contributing to a safe, positive, and professionally run club environment.
