Morning Training & Day School Program

Etobicoke FC is developing a new High Performance Morning Training & Day School Program designed for dedicated players who want an elevated, daily training environment that supports both academic success and elite player development.
Built to align with Canada Soccer / Ontario Soccer development standards and Etobicoke FC’s long-term pathway, this program will combine morning high-performance training, a structured school-day learning model, and integrated player support—helping athletes grow technically, tactically, physically, and mentally in a professional setting.
What to Expect
High Performance Morning Training
Players will train in a focused morning environment emphasizing:
- Technical mastery under pressure
- Position-specific development
- Tactical understanding and game intelligence
- Speed, strength, movement quality, and injury prevention
- High standards, consistent feedback, and performance habits
Monday–Friday Daily Schedule (High Performance Program)

| 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM | After-School Tutoring Program | Homework support, subject help, study skills, test prep, and teacher-guided catch-up time to stay on track academically. |
| 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM | Evening Academy Training | Team-based academy session: tactical principles, team model work, functional training by unit/position, match prep, and competitive play. |
Day School / Academic Alignment
The academic component will provide a stable, structured learning environment designed to balance performance and education.
- Grades 6+ academic curriculum will be taught by board-approved, Ontario Certified Teachers.
- Clear academic expectations and support resources
- Balance between training load, recovery, and learning

Integrated Player Development Support
The program is being built with a full-player approach, including:
- Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and goal-setting
- Regular assessment and progress tracking
- Communication between coaching staff, families, and school support
- Safe Sport–aligned environment and athlete wellbeing focus
