2026 PROGRAM | SUMMER SEASON
Overview
The Etobicoke FC Pre-Academy is an introductory development program designed for players aged 5–8, regardless of prior soccer experience or ability level.
Our goal is to build confidence, coordination, and love for the game through age-appropriate training that emphasizes ball mastery, 1v1 moments, and small-sided play in a fun, positive environment.
This program serves as the foundation of Etobicoke FC’s player pathway and helps prepare young players for future Academy and competitive opportunities.

While we understand a child’s comfort in knowing teammates, we are only able to accommodate one (1) request per player, with respect for all families and the overall balance of the program.
Program Structure
Players participate twice per week, following a balanced learning and play model:
Day 1 – Soccer School (Technical Development)

Focus on ball mastery and fundamental movement skills

Dribbling, turning, passing, receiving, and 1v1 situations

Delivered through fun, guided activities and stations

Session Length: 1 hour
Day 2 – Game Day (Small-Sided Games)

Players grouped evenly to ensure equal participation

Emphasis on creativity, decision-making, and confidence

Games used as a learning tool—not results-based competition

Session Length: 40–60 minutes
