Etobicoke FC Soccer School

Welcome to Etobicoke FC Soccer School — our year-round, 48-week academy training program built for players who want to improve through consistency, intensity, and real technical development. Soccer School runs three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) at 124 The East Mall, Etobicoke, ON, with each session lasting 2 hours.

This program is designed around high-repetition technical training that helps players become sharper, quicker, and more confident on the ball. Every week, players will develop fast feet, master first touch off the wall, and build the habits required to perform under pressure. Training then moves into competitive 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 small-sided games, where players apply their skills in realistic match situations—improving decision-making, speed of play, and competitiveness.

Soccer School is a high-standard environment where effort, focus, and coachability matter. Our goal is simple: help every player train with purpose, raise their technical level, and take real steps forward throughout the year. Welcome to the work—welcome to Etobicoke FC Soccer School.

Technical Training Focus

Soccer School is built to create players who are sharp under pressure and confident in tight spaces. Every session emphasizes:

  • Fast Feet & Ball Mastery: quick touches, coordination, control, rhythm, and agility with the ball
  • First Touch & Wall Work: first touch off the wall, receiving with both feet, touch into space, touch to turn, and playing the next action faster
  • Passing & Receiving at Speed: clean technique, body positioning, scanning habits, and sharper execution under time and pressure
  • Finishing Technique: clean striking, composure, and quick end-product after dribbling or combination play

Training is designed for maximum touches, high repetition, and game-realistic pressure, so improvement carries over directly into matches.

1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 Small-Sided Games

After technical work, players apply their skills in coached, competitive small-sided formats that demand constant involvement and quick decisions:

1v1 (Confidence & Duels)

  • Beating defenders with skill and speed
  • Protecting the ball and creating separation
  • Defending technique: stance, patience, timing, and winning the ball

2v2 (Support & Combination Play)

  • Creating angles and quick passing options
  • Movement, give-and-go play, and finishing chances
  • Defending in pairs: pressure + cover, communication, compactness

3v3 (Speed of Play & Transition)

  • Quick transitions and high-tempo decision-making
  • Counter attacking and recovery defending
  • Reading moments: when to dribble, pass, or finish

These formats develop speed of play, game awareness, and competitiveness—while keeping the technical standard high.
